My personal conclusion

After researching, reading articles, and watching videos it started to twist my thoughts on the topic. The history back from hinderers of years ago make me believe that their had to be such an animal at one time based on all the accounts all over the world from stories to personal accounts to myths. The stories from the last decade or so seem to me to be hoaxes such as the video clip. It is possible it is real, but my thought is that it was a gorilla suit. So my anylisis on the Bigfoot topic is that at one time or another there has been such creates alive, may even have been thousands of them. I also believe that they could still be around today but more in the colder regions where they would be harder to find with a few strays wondering in the northern forest causing the famous prints. SO I BELIEVE THAT BIGFOOT DOES INDEED EXIST.

Evidence behind the hairy man-ape

Oct. 5, 1958
At a road construction site in Buff, California Gerald Crew finds huge tracks onAugust then also in October 1st and 2nd, 1958. He is told by his fellow workers, some of which were hoops indians, that the maker of such prints is a hairy forest giant. Using plaster of Paris, Crew, makes a replica of the large print at the site on October.

1967
Roger Patterson and Bib Gimlin claimed to have the first video capture of Bigfoot ever. The clip showed seconds of what appeared to be a female, hairy creature, walking away looking at he camera. This has been the most important evidence of the Big foot theory.

Stories

The first written account of the North American "Bigfoot" occurred in 986 AD When Leif Erikson and his men landed in the New World. In Samuel Morison's of the Norse voyages, Erikson mentions creatures that were ugly, hairy, swarthy, and with big black eyes.

In 1924 Albert Ostman claimed he was kidnapped by a Sasquatch and held captive for a week by the beast. Most would of ignored the claim if his description had not been so exact and of similar to what the big foot looked like in future claims.

Another encounter happened in 1924 also the second case was a little more violent with a story involving 4 miners attacked by several giant ape like creatures thawing rocks at them. In washington state in a area called Ape Canyon. Many believed the men because of how terrified they were ensuring that something pretty unreal had to happen to them.

History

Many believe that bigfoot is a newly added addition to mythology, The word bigfoot was thought up in 1958. But the the story has been around much longer than that and is also not limited to just North America. The earliest accounts of the creatures appeared 4000 years ago on 12 clay tablets known as the epic of gilgamesh. Cretaing a story between Gilgamesh and a "wildman".
In the new world the natives refered to big foot as "tai-he" or more commonly "Sasquatch",  which means hairy giant. Big foot experts and enthusiast estimate that their were some where between 4000-6000 big foots that roamed North America at one time. Big foots are known to be docile and vegetarians. But there has also been reports of big foots working together to capture and kill deer for their livers, which is a high protein source.
Big foot was first reported to be seen by a white man in Jasper, Alberta, Canada in 181. Since then hoaxes have been all around referencing the canadian Sasquatch sightings. The first reported attack was in Washington State where miners reported a big foot throwing rocks at their cabins and big footprints as evidence. Most of the big foot craze subsided until the 1950's in California. A plaster footprint of big foot emerged in 1958, founded by Jerry crew. He found the print while operating a bulldozer. This is where the common term Bigfoot came from.
The biggest craze came from a small clip that only contained a few seconds of what appeared to be a female Bigfoot, walking away looking at the camera. This is the most famous of big foot videos and is known all over their world.

Bigfoot is a legend/folks tale all around the world.  From big foot, the abominable snowman, yeti, and sasquatch, all have been old wise tale stories from all over for thosands of years. The reason for this particular blog is that I want to give some personal insight as well as evidence for/against the famous tale of bigfoot. There has been so called sightings from america to Mount Everest. So that makes you believe is there such an creature? Or just alot of liars with fake sightings creating an old wise tale. I personally believe that the existance of a creature such as bigfoot or the yeti is very possible and also believe that there has to be some truth behind the story. I am also open to the point that bigfoot or its breed has become extinct, but is still real never the less. So the question is, Is bigfoot real? His he still alive? Wheres the evidence to support that hes real? Is this just another old fishing story..?
